> ...The current protests are limited to the area around the Government House and Rajdamnoen Road area; delegates are therefore advised to be prudent and avoid these specific areas. Most of other venues in Bangkok are unaffected.
> ...We would like to clarify that today is declaration of a state of emergency is a measure which simply gives the Prime Minister and the Cabinet wider and more direct legal powers to maintain law and order within Bangkok. There are no wider implications such as curfew at present.  
> ... There is no violent due this protests.
